I have to tell you that I am completely hooked on and committed to mindfulness and meditation.

It has made a HUGE difference in my life. I am no longer stressed – it just doesn’t happen. Even when I find the pressure on and my heart rate rising, I am able to control it and take charge.

I do meditate strictly twice a day – for 40 mins in morning and 15 – 20 mins in afternoon. I have also downloaded some classical music and I do 5 min stints as and when I get the change during the day. It takes a lot of commitment and there are many days when I really want to skip – especially the days I have to be at the Business School at 8am but I know the consequences and so I persist. If I do skip I find I feel fragmented – all over the place- during the day.

The other thing that has convinced me is that I have been doing Biofeedback and Neuro-feedback. The one session she suggested I meditate and we monitor my brainwaves to see what happens. It was phenomenal. As soon as I started everything went into sync – I didn’t need any other convincing.
