Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an 8-week programme designed for individuals with chronic illness and stress-related problems. It also benefits those who simply want to live more mindfully.
The Cape Town MBSR programme is modelled on the Stress Reduction Clinic at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, the oldest and largest hospital-based stress reduction clinic in the United States.
The MBSR programme offers an intensive training in formal and informal mindfulness-based techniques that are used to cope more effectively with stress, illness and pain. Participants learn to access their internal resources for balance and healing by utilizing self-regulation as a complement to standard medical and psychological treatment.

There was a wonderful turnout for the last one-day session and we really enjoyed seeing previous participants from our programs over the years.
